What is an underlying question that gives form to your work or interest in this field?
What is it that will carry humanity forward permanently
into its next evolutionary step?
What is your personal experience of collective
wisdom in groups?
In teaching meditation for many years, I have consistently
noticed that the 'group field' generated by the meditators carries some
individuals forward when otherwise they would not be able to move by
themselves. In a similar sense I have repeatedly seen in community process
groups who have gotten themselves basically beyond the primitive "fight
or flight" reactionary response when they encounter their differences;
extraordinarily creative and innovative new emergences of wisdom and
invention come out as they examine their differences.
What is it about the work in this field that excites
you and connects you to your own deepest self?
Working in this field simply energizes me the most! There
is an excitement both about finding out more about me (and humanity)
and what I/we may become, along with a sense of fulfilling my life 'purpose'...
my Soul's calling to me. I have an intuitive sense/knowing that this
arena carries with it the potential for bringing JOY beyond belief to
earth.
Please provide a brief storyline or snapshot of
what brought you to this work.
Long, long ago in a place far, far away (now) called
'grad school', after learning and consistently practicing meditation
for 2 & 1/2 years; on a summer day very close to my 30th birthday,
I spontaneously experienced the "White Light" during one meditation.
No trauma. No pain. No near death experience from surgery or an accident.
But at that time, the most extraordinary occurrence in my life I had
ever had. It moved me beyond belief and planted seeds within me which
would take almost a decade to manifest. When those seeds came into full
fruition, it was in the form of helping to create a new, permanent level
of consciousness on the planet via creating permanent 'conscious real
community'.
How would you like to be available to others in
this field?
I am available to others via their exploration of The
Mariposa Group Community and its membership process and/or community
teaching seminars. The potential contribution is one of tremendously
up scaling the joy and sense of meaning within one's life.
