What is an underlying question that gives form to your work or interest in this field?

“How can we educate young people to thrive in a world of possibility?"

What is your personal experience of collective wisdom in groups?

Awesome. Sometimes it tests the collective when certain individuals push the boundaries, but for the most part, I never cease to be amazed at what comes from people when they share their wisdom.

What is it about the work in this field that excites you and connects you to your own deepest self?

What excited me the most is gathering young people together and creating a venue for their collective wisdom to emerge, particularly as it pertains to education. They have no clue how much inner wisdom they carry or they know it but it has not been allowed to come out or they have been seen and not listened to enough that they suffer in silence together. By working with them, I am continually refreshed and reminded that I can allow the childish wisdom and creativity that I possess to come forward.

Please provide a brief storyline or snapshot of what brought you to this work.

I was re-reading Synchronicity by Joe Jaworkski when I had a momentary insight that filled me with a vision and the passion to carry it out. For the past two years I have been working on seeing a new type of educational system for young people that will in part be based on collective wisdom.

How would you like to be available to others in this field?

Any and all conversations are welcome however, my passion is reinventing - not tweaking or reshaping - education. Anyone who is pursuing this or knows anyone who is pursuing it I would especially love to talk to.
